Also known as roll packaging or roll film packaging, it consists of printed rolls of materials, often layered to create the desired finish, that can be converted into packaging products like pouches and wraps with the use of a rollstock packaging machine. Roll stock is printed by unwinding a roll of substrate, printing on it, and then laminating it and cutting in on a slotter.
Roll stock is ideal for businesses that have access to a rollstock packaging machine. This type of machine uses roll stock to package products so that you don’t have to do it manually.
